AusChron asks a question about Rep. John Carter
Congressman John Carter, R-Round Rock, just sent out his weekly “Carter Courier” newsletter, with this appalling subject line: “Is Obama a Marxist?”
Carter’s District 31, which runs from Williamson County up to Stephenville, is in what’s probably a safe enough Republican district that he doesn’t have to worry about a Democrat ever knocking him off, but red-baiting crap like this just shows why the majority in this nation increasingly just doesn’t take the GOP seriously. Keep digging, John.
It’s that reason, Carter being in a “safe” district, that he can spew this kind of garbage, which needs to be exposed. It’s likely there are many that just vote for the person with the (R) next the name on the ballot and aren’t aware of Carter’s far right positions. Hopefully they will start listening to what he’s saying and watching what he’s doing. If they do then this district won’t be so “safe” for Carter anymore.
To keep up with all of Congressman Carter’s nuttiness be sure and check out John Carter Watch.

We nee leadership that can operate within the administration to provide optimum representation for our local tax dollars. Carter is hurting us all with his schoolboy shenanigans. Our district is, literally, unrepresented and his attempts to stir controversy with the administration carry a heavy price. It is imperative that we begin running paid advertisements now to undermine his agenda and expose his wretched representation.
