Report From Round Rock Town Hall Meeting
Mary Beth Harrell and Matt McAdoo talk with voters in TX-31, that empty seat you see is where John Carter should have been.
The crowd was very appreciative of Mary Beth Harrell and Matt McAdoo being there to meet with them, and several audience members brought up the fact that John Carter was not available to do that for them as his constituents.It was a standard format with opening and closing statements, with a question and answers session in between. Those that showed up were able to ask any question they wished of the candidates. Why that sounds democratic. Now I understand why John Carter decided to leave his constituents with an empty seat instead of coming to this doing his duty.
