AAS profiles County Attorney race

Austin American Statesman reporter Isadora Vail’s article does a good job of summarizing the Williamson County Attorney’s race. The comments are entertaining also, so go read it. Democratic candidate Jaime Lynn provides the highlight:

“I realize this county needs some positive change that would benefit the citizens and taxpayers,” Lynn said.

Amen to that. This is the only countywide race on the ballot, so it may well turn into a referendum on Republican governance. It is difficult to overstate how much of a difference in county politics that Jaime Lynn’s election to this important office will make. Why else would everyone doing business with the county be funding corrupt Duty’s campaign?
