County Indefinitely Retains Outside Attorney
On yesterday’s Williamson County Commissioners Court (WCCC) Agenda, Item #34, it was proposed that local attorney, and WCCC go-to-guy Mike Davis be retained indefinitely. With his initial 60 days coming due, and the Ackley/judges situation still unresolved, County Attorney Jana Duty still needs to keep him on the payroll, at the taxpayers expense of course:
Discuss and take appropriate action on retaining Mike Davis to assist the county attorney on current pending and contemplated litigation and related matters for the time period that the county attorney and commissioners court deem necessary.
The WCS reported that it’s a done deal. Accountability comes in November.
