Lynn starts “Wheels off the cart” direct mail campaign

Posted in Commentary, County Attorney, Election 2008, Williamson County at 11:54 am by wcnews

The campaign of Democratic candidate for Williamson County Attorney Jaime Lynn issued a press release today announcing it’s, “newest direct mail campaign across Williamson County”. The title of the release state’s that “Jana Duty has lost control of our County Attorney’s Office”. Referencing the friction earlier this year between the county attorney’s office - the firing and rehiring of Asst. County Attorney Stephen Ackley - and the four Williamson County Court at Law judges.

“The fact that the Republican Judges of Williamson County were so disappointed by the ‘incompetence’ of their own County Attorney that they put their dissatisfaction in writing speaks volumes,” Mr. Lynn remarked. “This election is about restoring integrity and bringing good government to Williamson County…the taxpayers are long past caring about partisan politics or party affiliation. I trust that these mail pieces will reach the undecided and under-informed voters so that they can make an intelligent, informed decision.”

Jana Duty has started a phone campaign. It is a recording of John Bradley endorsing Jana Duty. You know the kind…the annoying ones that always come around dinner time.
