The city has agreed to pay more than $100,000 to settle a case brought by a woman who said she was sexually assaulted by an on-duty police officer in 2007.
In September, former Georgetown police Sgt. Jimmy Lewis Fennell Jr. was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of kidnapping and improper sexual activity with a person in custody.
