Democrats Filibuster Republican Torture Bill

So why did McCain, who was tortured himself, cave on this issue? He wants to be president real bad and the religious right wants the president to be able to torture people.
This is an easy issue for Democrats to filibuster. The military is overwhelmingly against this and 63% of Americans think we should follow the Geneva Convetion when it comes to torture.
But the part of this story that gets very little play is that torture doesn’t work and it only emboldens the enemy.
