Funny Side Story On The Race For Speaker
Remember all that money corporations and lobbyists gave Speaker Craddick to remodel the apartment in the Capitol? Wouldn’t it be funny if all that money was spent for Tom Craddick and then someone else wound up living there? KVUE has the story, Craddick could lose more than just his speakership:
The legislature did not get to decide on renovations, but it does decide on its speaker. And if a new speaker is elected, that person will inherit a place custom renovated for the Craddick’s.
